About HARVESTe

HARVESTe.io is operated by David Stanley as an individual. HARVESTe provides a platform where people can discover, submit and contribute information about local producers and places selling local food and produce.

HARVESTe is not the seller, producer or supplier of goods shown on the map unless a listing expressly says otherwise.

Map and listing information

HARVESTe aims to make its map useful and accurate, but much of the information comes from listing owners and the community.

Locations, opening times, prices, products, stock reports and other details can change. HARVESTe cannot guarantee that every listing or piece of information will always be complete, current or accurate.

Check important details with the producer or seller where necessary before making a special journey.

Submitting information

You may submit information about local producers and places that you reasonably believe to be genuine.

Please do not deliberately submit false, misleading, unlawful, abusive or unrelated information, or information that unnecessarily exposes someone's private personal details.

New listings may be reviewed before appearing publicly. HARVESTe may correct, reject, hide or remove submissions where reasonably necessary to keep the map useful, safe and accurate.

Claiming a listing

A person claiming a listing must be the owner, operator or otherwise authorised to manage that listing.

HARVESTe may review a claim before granting control and may ask for further information where reasonably necessary to establish that the claimant is authorised.

Owner information and photographs

Listing owners are responsible for information they publish, including product descriptions, prices, availability, opening information, stories and photographs.

By uploading a photograph or other content, you confirm that you have the right to use it and allow HARVESTe to display it as part of the service.

Please do not upload content that infringes another person's rights or contains unnecessary private information.

Food, products and safety

Producers and sellers are responsible for the goods they offer, including their quality, safety, labelling, allergens and compliance with any laws that apply to them.

HARVESTe does not inspect, manufacture, prepare or certify the food or other products shown on the map.

If you have allergies, dietary requirements or other safety concerns, check directly with the producer or seller before buying or consuming a product.

Community reports

Stock reports and recommendations are community features. They reflect information supplied by users and may become outdated quickly.

Please use these features genuinely and do not attempt to manipulate recommendations, interfere with listings or submit deliberately false reports.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity carried out through your account.

HARVESTe may restrict or remove access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users or the integrity of listings.

Availability of HARVESTe

HARVESTe may change as the service develops. Features may be added, changed, suspended or removed, and the website may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons.

Responsibility

HARVESTe provides information and community tools to help people discover local producers. You remain responsible for deciding whether to visit a location, contact a producer, purchase a product or rely on information supplied by another user.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Problems with a listing

If you believe a listing is inaccurate, should be removed, infringes your rights or contains information that should not be public, email hello@harveste.io.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as HARVESTe develops. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
